CAF REVEALS AFCON PRIZE MONEY... AFCON Prize Money: African Cup of Nations champions Algeria have received $4.5 million, Senegal $2.5m, while third place contestants Super Eagles and Tunisia earned $2.m. Algeria lifted their second ever AFCON trophy after narrowly beating Senegal 1-0 in the final last Friday night. Following the end of the tournament, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) have revealed the prize money for all participant countries.   As for hosts Egypt they will receive $670.000 following their disappointing elimination from the round of 16. The Nigerian Navy says it has released the list of successful candidates for its 2019 recruitment aptitude test. Navy Spokesman, Commodore Suleman Dahun, who announced this in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja, urged the candidates to visit its official site: www.joinnigeriannavy.com. He said successful candidates were to report for selection interview at the Nigerian Navy Secondary School Ojo, Navy Town, Lagos from July 29 to Aug.27. Dahun said the interview included screening and verification of credentials, medical, physical and written tests. Besides, the spokesman said candidates should come with two pairs of navy blue shorts and two white T-shirts, a pair of canvas and stockings. Nigerians mock Davido as Beyoncé features Burna Boy, Yemi Alade, Tiwa Savage.      Award winning singer, Beyonce, on Tuesday unveiled the tracklist of her new album, ‘The Lion King: The Gift.’ Surprisingly, the album features six Nigerian popstars, which includes Yemi Alade, Burna Boy, Mr. Eazi, Tekno, Wizkid, and Tiwa Savage.   Ghana’s Shatta Wale was also included in the album.
